Exeter Art Society was founded in 1928 and is a local art society run by people living in Exeter and the surrounding areas.
It’s aims are to foster interest in and encourage the practice of fine art, and membership is open to anyone interested in them.
The Society is currently looking for new members, and meetings take place on the third Friday of each month from 7.00 pm - 9.00 pm (except August and December), and are held at the Whipton Community Centre, Pinhoe Road, Exeter. Guests are welcome (entrance £3). There are a variety of interesting talks, critiques and demonstrations given by visiting artists and members throughout the year. We also organise workshops and sketching days out (weather permitting) during the year. Membership is £20 per annum.
If you would like to join our friendly society, or would like further information, please telephone 01395 279133 or complete the contact form below.
